League and Division Champions!!

AA - Congratulations EDHLL South AA Champion Twins.     The Twins defeated the South A's to win the South Championship.  In the North/South Division Championship, the Twins prevailed 5-0 over the North Giants.

AAA - Congratulations EDHLL South AAA Champion Pirates. The Pirates bested the Reds in the South AAA League Championship game. The Pirates then faced off with the North Champion Scrappers and came away with the victory in a great battle.  Congratulations to the Pirates on their League and Division Championships!

TOC Champions!

Juniors -  El Dorado Hills South (Giants) captured the District 54 Juniors TOC championship with a 14-0 win versus El Dorado Hills North (Marlins).  Mitch McLean pitched a four hit shutout against a potent Marlins lineup.  The team scored early to take a 6-0 after the first inning and finished the contest with 18 hits. The squad played a solid defensive game which contributed to the victory.  Congratulations to Anthony DeZordo, Kevin Feutz, Jake Gilger, Mitchell Jensen, John Lamm, Mitch McLean, Alan Petterle, Jack Rico, Jake Rogozinski, Tim Smolarski, Jeremy Vicario, and Jake Zeltner.  Also, a special congratulation goes out to Manager Tony Rogozinski and Coaches Rod Gilger and John Rico

Majors -  Our league also captured the District 54 Majors (Giants) TOC championship by defeating the Lakeside Red Sox 9-5 Wednesday night at Mahany Park in Roseville. The Giants posted a 4-run second inning with a pair of singles, then came right back in the third with an RBI double by Tanner Austin for a 5-0 lead. The pitching of starter Kyle Stephens was equally as hot as he allowed just two Red Sox base runners through the first three innings. Stephens contributed on the offensive end as well when his fourth inning single to left scored two runners upping the Giants lead to 7-0. Congratulations to Brogan Cooper, Chris Roppolo, Kyle Stephens, Tanner Ales, Dominic Bethancourt, Jon Seim, Dalton Santos, Curtis Meissner, Tanner Austin, TD Haley, Draven Palmer, and Scott Douglas. Also, excellent job by our Manager, Mark Cooper and his coaches Donnie Ales and Jim Walker.

11 year old All Star Tournament in EDH!

EDHLL South will be hosting the league-age 11 year-old All-Star Tournament at Oak Meadow during June 28th through July 9th.  Anyone interested in volunteering is encouraged to do so and email your availability to David Koch (dckoch@sbcglobal.net). Teams represented will range from Roseville all the way east past Placerville. Please consider volunteering your time and support our local league as well as our own EDHLL South team. Thank you!
